Minimums are what the maker says it takes to boot, not what it takes to be useful. Plan on more of everything. openmediavault 8 is codenamed 'Synchrony' and its quick-install instructions target Debian 13 (Trixie) specifically. The official Prerequisites hardware-requirements table gives Minimal/Best/Recommendation tiers for RAM (1 GiB / 4 GiB / 8 GiB+ dual-channel) and CPU (32-bit / 64-bit / Intel Dual Core or AMD Ryzen) but never a minimum disk-space figure in GB, only drive-type guidance, recorded as null rather than guessed.
