Using this site
RackBrief publishes reference information about home server software for general information. By using the site you accept these terms.
Accuracy
We work to keep every fact correct, sourced, dated and tied to a named release, and we fix errors when told about them. Even so, makers change their software and their documentation without notice, and a page that was right for one release can be wrong for the next. The site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Check anything you are going to rely on against the current documentation for the release you are actually running.
Your data and your hardware
Installing or upgrading server software can make a machine unbootable and can destroy data on its disks. Nothing here replaces the maker's own instructions, and nothing here is a substitute for a backup you have tested. You are responsible for your own systems and data.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from use of this site, including data loss, downtime, failed upgrades or lost income. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales.
Trade marks
Product and company names are the trade marks of their owners and are used only to identify software. RackBrief is not affiliated with or endorsed by any maker named on this site.
Our content
The text, design, code and compiled data of this site belong to RackBrief. You may quote short extracts and figures with a link back. You may not copy the data set or republish pages in bulk.
Links and advertising
We link to third-party sites as sources and carry third-party advertising. We do not control those sites or ads and are not responsible for them.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
